It's that time of year again...

Semi-Annual Kid Exchange

This year I had to improvise at the last minute.
Usually Jimmy works from home because frankly this sale is so huge that taking any kid(s) is insane and not fun.
Due to a few meetings he couldn't miss, I had to take Jaxson and Bella with me.
Just in case you need a reminder of how crazy this sale is:

I did not sell at this one due to our family vacation being so close to it.
In preparation I got my snacks ready to occupy the Zoo.
I had my two secret weapons, M&M's and Cookies.
I put them both in pull ups because I was afraid of the line.
Since I did not sell, I would be going on a open to the public day and I know that means possibly a few hours waiting on line to check out.

Because I usually use their stroller as my shopping cart, I had to come up with an idea for a cart that I could handle while I also pushed the stroller.
I got my big beach bucket and fold able hand truck a few bungee cords and made a nice cart.
Grabbed my big 31 bag to place on top and I was ready.

I didn't find any big items or props this time.
I got a few games, books, computer games, PS2 games for Des, a few boy games for Jaxson (since most of our stuff is geared towards girls), a few puzzles, matchbox cars of all sizes and Spider-man winter boots for Jaxson.
I always go with an idea of what I need, otherwise it is too overwhelming.
I also got Kylie a toy computer as her prize.
I got all three the next size clothes.
They will only need a few things for the next season.

Jaxson and Bella were amazing at the Kid Exchange.
We only went Potty twice, which is amazing in its self.
Then my hero called at 1:30pm and asked if he could pick them up.
At that point the line was around the building and from experience I knew it would be a few hours.
After Daddy came and picked them up.
I was able to go back to the clothes and look better.
When I finally went to get on line there was NO line at all.
It appears that after 330pm (they must all be picking up their kids from school) the place empty's out.
It was a very successful Kid Exchange.
I will be selling at the next one.
It is worth it to get to go the day before it goes public.

Kylie's "new" clothes.
3 dresses, 5 PJ's, 6 pair jeans, two skirts, shirt, sweater and two reversible Gymboree fleece jackets.

Bella's "new" Clothes
Two dresses, two PJ's, two pants, 3 shirts, one leotard, and a robe.
Plus a black pair of snow pants.

Jaxson's "new" clothes
six pair PJ's, ten long sleeve shirts, two pair pants, one fleece jacket and a robe.

I also found this batman mask for $1
He isn't sure if he wants to be batman or spider man for halloween.
He can wear his new mask, his batman cape Nana made and a black shirt and pants I found at the kids exchange.

I needed a model later that day for a photography group contest.
I bribed Kylie with Puzzle time.

This is the one I submitted.

She looks so grown up.
They are all getting so big.

These are from yesterday as I am now all caught up.

We are having fun at The Webb Zoo!
