It always takes me a few weeks to post vacation pictures.
The Zoo keeps me really busy and for the last two weeks EVERYONE has been battling a cold.
Jaxson, Bella and Kylie were battling double ear infections in addition to colds.
It's been a pretty fun two weeks.
Lets not forget Sissy's car accident in the middle of our crazy two weeks.
Thank God she is ok!
We are lucky. Of the 80+ accidents on Highway 40 the night of the ice storm, She was one of the lucky ones who walked away.
Now that I've got my excuses out of the way.
Here are a few of my favorites out of the 600+ pictures I took while we were in NY.
Jaxson loves trains and he couldn't wait for Poppy to get home from work to play with it.
This is a cell phone picture but it is one of my favorites.
Of course we had a little snow.
I took so many pictures of Jaxson and Bella's first time playing in the snow that it will have to be a separate post after this one.
Bella isn't too sure of the snow.
This is Sissy's face when she thought Jaxson might fall into the TV stand.
Learning a few new tricks from Nana
We were so lucky to see Jenn and Keira.
Jaxson got to run the train.
Jaxson has so many expressions.
He is fun to watch.
Poppy told him to lay down and watch the train because it will look like it is coming at you.
Jaxson loved this and now at home still lays down to watch his trains.
Bella loves the Jack in the Box.
She thought it was the funniest toy.
Jack in the box while Daddy worked.
Gram and Grandpa came over for diner and for a special Christmas celebration.
Destine' brought her boyfriend Steven with her on this trip to meet the whole Family.
Bella loves her princesses.
Jaxson loved the Choo Choo paper.
Kylie loves Minnie.
Everyone loved the Pillow Racers!
This shows what a good sport Steven is.
Every year Stevens Family comes up with a cute idea for a family picture.
This year was his sisters choice.
His sister got everyone footed Pj's.
His whole family got dressed up in footed Pj's for a family picture.
When Destine found out she packed her Pj's for her own photo opportunity.
Due to the snowy weather we didn't get out much on this trip.
But we were glad we got to go to my Uncle Mike's wedding.
Steven and Destine' are coming up on their two year anniversary.
They only had five days in NY.
Between visiting with family, Destine' wanted to surprise him with a few side trips since he has never been to NY.
One very special trip was to see the 9/11 memorial in NYC.
Steven is in the Army.
One of his reason's for joining was 9/11.
He didn't think they would have time to visit so this was truly a great surprise.
Even though it was a blizzard of freezing rain and sleet they still had an amazing time in NYC.
I'm going to take a moment to ask all of our Family and Friends to Pray for the soldiers that are fighting for our country.
I will post about this in the future and will keep everyone updated but as of right now,
It looks like Steven will be deploying to Afghanistan this Sept 2013.
We will be praying for his safe return!
Poppy, Coleen and Matt took them to West Point.
and the River.
We squeezed in Sissy's Birthday!
We squeezed in cake for Bella and Jaxson's birthday!
We stayed with Nana for this trip.
Nicole and Kylie couldn't wait to get together an play.
These two are BFF's
Mickey & Minnie for J & B.
This is just more proof that taking pictures of my four kids is painful.
One (if not more) out of the four is always not in the mood.
Since Aunt Caroline had her whole clan together is was a great time to get a family photo.
This one is my favorite.
Sissy is teaching Jaxson some new skills she picked up at school.
*FYI it's a Shirley temple. No under age drinking going on here!
Steven enjoyed getting historical stories from Harold.
We were able to squeeze in a day visit with Nana Freida and Pop-Pop.
Got some silliness...
and some belly giggles...
Christmas and Birthday Presents...
Birthday cake and tons of food...
We had a really happy day!
Back to silliness at Nana's
Back to the Choo Choo
What NY visit wouldn't be complete with out doing Poppy's hair?
So much fun with Poppy.
Jaxson crossed his legs all on his own, just like Poppy.
A few weeks ago, we got the sad news that my Aunt Marie was diagnosed with Lymphoma, Liver and Lung Cancer.
She is in amazing spirits and very focused on getting as much more time as God will allow.
I was lucky to get to see my Aunt Marie and I cherished every second I got to spend with her.
It was a great visit that I didn't want to end.
The "Fusstner's" always have fun when we get together!
One of my favorites!
Getting some Nana Snuggles and Lovings.
It is always sad when we say good bye!
We had such a fun visit and can't wait to be back.
Thank you Nana and Poppy for having our Crazy Zoo.
As always we had a Great time!
