Grammie & Grampie Learning Experience..

While we were enjoying our first weekend together without any children in almost 5 years, Grammie and Grampie were enjoying our "Crazy Zoo".
When we arrived home at 8pm, both Jaxson and Bella were asleep but Kylie was waiting with bells on.  Grampie was packing his car as we pulled in and before we even had our two bags unloaded Grampy was gone. LOL  Grammie hung around to fill us in on how many trips she took to Aidens house and to the park.  She explained that nap time just didn't work out in her favor.  She informed us that instead of the normal trip to the Lake House next weekend for Memorial Day that Grammy and Grampy would be going to PA.
Gee coincidence, I think not.

Following their weekend Grampie posted this on his Facebook page.

They called in the re-enforcements, Emily, Matt and Buddy.

Grammy's back up Nap time plan.
(whatever works)

I think they had a good weekend, I know we did.
Tuesday we were back to our normal schedule and naps.
Boy did I miss my little bugger's.
"Grammie & Grampie weekend learning experience... JoAnne and I watched Kylie (4 yrs) and Jaxson & Bella (16 Mo's old twins) for the weekend. They have 10X more energy than we do and my muscles and bones still ache. I've expanded my baby vocabulary and learned there are many octave levels of "Waaaaa" and whining really does work. Especially with Grammie. They don't make a big enough box of diapers for the twins and Milk and Juice are a premium and should be delivered to the house daily like 'back in the day'. Technology is so advanced for car seats, strollers, toys, wii's, etc that I am going to enroll in Grandparent's babysitting 101 at Wake Tech. Haha... Especially since Kylie is more knowledgeable (Kylie: "Just press the button Grampie"). All in all, It was a great weekend."
