Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny Came! The Easter Bunny came! This year we got a late start. Jaxson decided he was going to sleep in. The girls not so patiently hovered over him in the crib waiting for him to open his eyes. Finally at 9am we sent Bella in his crib and he woke up with a huge grin. He thought is was pretty cool Bella was in his crib. Kylie started out the morning with a little Easter egg hunt in the house. The Easter Bunny hid a few eggs in the house which kept Kylie a little busy while she waited for everyone to wake up.

When Kylie came down stairs she was a little surprised because she didn't see her Easter Basket.
She found a note from the Easter Bunny. It said "Destine', Kylie, Bella & Jaxson, Happy Easter! Have fun finding your Easter Baskets." Sissy explained that the Easter Bunny always hid her Easter Basket and it is one of her favorite traditions. We are all about keeping traditions.

*on a side note the basket in this picture that had the note in and some Easter candy is Destine's original Easter Basket. This basket is the gift basket that Albany Medical center sent home with her when she was born. It is just like her and almost 20 years old.

The first Easter Basket they found was Bella's, under the dining room table.

Jaxson's was next but Sissy was too quick and Mommy didn't get a picture. His was behind the backdoor curtain.

Kylie quickly found hers in her play house.

Destine' found hers behind the couch. Everyone was happy with all their goodies. It seemed the Easter Bunny had a beach theme this year. With bathing suits, beach towels, flip flops, sun glasses, sun hats, swim pals for J & B and even a sand chair for Sissy. Of Course there was one gift bag from Mommy and Daddy for everyone with sand toys.

We had a great Easter Morning.

We headed over to Grammy's for Easter.

Before Dinner and the Easter Egg Hunt Ally kept Kylie busy. They looked at a few of Allys pictures on her computer.

Of Course Mommy had to get a picture of my favorite kids. As I was looking at these photos picking my favorite for the blog, I had a hard time just picking one. It also reminded me how much fun my precious kids are. This first one is the best one with the definition of they are all looking and all kind of smiling but the few after that are really my favorites. They show their personalities and how much fun they have together. Oh how much I love them!

Aunt Mel getting some Jaxson Snuggles.

Jaxson isn't too sure of Uncle Bernie but he didn't complain either.

Miss Bella is ready to walk and could do it if she wanted but she just isn't 100% sure yet.

She took a few steps to Sissy from Daddy.

In order for Bella to be able to get around in that fancy dress we had to tuck it in. She wasn't too happy when she was trying to get around and couldn't because of the dress.

Since it was a holiday, we had dinner very close to their nap time. So close that right after Bella finished eating all her Holiday goodies: Yummy ham, turkey, sweet potato's, green beans and stuffing, she needed a little cat nap.

Jaxson didn't even get one bite in, he fell asleep before I got done cutting up his turkey.

After they caught a few ZZZZ's and Jaxson got to eat, they were ready for the big Easter Egg Hunt

Daddy was helping Jaxson find eggs and since he didn't have a basket he started putting the eggs in Jaxson pockets. Just keep an eye on Jaxson's pants as they fill up with eggs.

Notice the egg shooting out of his pocket and how he is walking funny.

Kylie found 24 eggs, Aiden & Ally found 26 eggs, and Jaxson found 8 (which all fit in his pants) & Bella with Sissy found 6.

The last egg was tricky and it took Sissy a little while to find it. Can you see it?

After the Easter Egg hunt we made Sun Catchers.

We had a wonderful Easter!
