Snow-mageddon 2 with Snow-megeddon 3 on the way...

It's been an interesting winter to say the least.
I love that we are getting to play in the snow.
Since we only get a few snow storms, we must take advantage.
We went out to play during the sleet knowing it would turn to freezing rain soon.
Jaxson didn't like the sleet, he only stayed out for a few minutes before he wanted to go in with Daddy
(who is lucky to be able to work from home).
We got about 4+ inches yesterday with a few more on the way today (maybe 2-4).

We knew the storm was coming so on Monday I took the crew out to get some groceries.

This was yesterday and this morning.

Let me in

My Snow Girls

We even took a walk/sleigh ride to see Aunt Emily and Eli.

I went out early to get some winter pictures.
You all are probably sick of winter and the snow.

I lost Direct TV this morning and this explains why.
My Butterfly bush is frozen and stuck to my dish.

Yesterday evening and even with the warnings of the pending storm, it was complete chaos and grid lock.
In areas like NY, PA, VT and NJ where drivers are used to snow, the people that don't like to or can't drive in it stay home.  Then the people that HAVE to go into work or are at work, will leave when work is done.
Here No one knows how to drive in it and they all go to work while us former northerners stay home and watch the news.
Within an hour of the snow starting EVERYONE at the same time will leave to go home.
Causing grid lock.

These area  few pictures that our local police station posted.
This ramp is close to our house.

This is our I-40.

All the cars you see in the median are abandoned.
Yup they leave to go home, get stuck and abandon there cars.
Today on the news we see a list of where people can find theirs cars.
Most will still be where they left them.
Unless they were blocking a main roadway, then they would have been towed.

We are safe inside and have plenty of supplies.
We still have power but with this sleet and snow still coming down we may loose that.
Kylie and I are going to make our Valentine's heart cake.
Luckily I did my Valentine shopping on Monday before the storm.

Stay warm and I hope everyone's power stays on.
