Merry Christmas...

Oh My Santa has been very busy...

Before.......
After .......

From the beginning...... and inbetween...

First look.....

I was a little worried how crazy this Christmas would be. I was predicting that it would be so crazy it would fly by and the memories would get lost in the chaos. I was wrong! It was the perfect Christmas. There was no rush, no chaos and amazingly no craziness. Presents were opened one by one. Bella and Jaxson opened almost all their presents on their own. Kylie enjoyed every gift and in addition to opening every present she immediately took everyone out of it's packaging and played briefly with it before moving on. Keeping up with the trash was a huge help, allowing Jaxson and Bella to explore every one's new gifts, thus keeping them busy all morning.

This year Kylie purchased a gift for everyone at her School's Secret Santa Shop and wrapped them all at school. We had no idea what we were getting until Christmas morning. She kept all her gifts a secret. Daddy got a new "Musical" Christmas Tie, which he proudly wore all day.

Mommy got a beautiful Love Bracelet. Sissy, Bella and Jaxson all loved their gifts from Kylie.

Jaxson was obsessed with every bow

After a few hours, Bella and Jaxson needed a little break. They refueled with Blueberry muffins and Juice.

Kylie was so excited to get the Leap Pad, it was number one on her list. She has been playing with this in Target every time we would go there.

This brings us back to the after picture...

... that you might say looks like craziness. It was more like controlled chaos. We had an amazing Christmas. I know as the kids get older Christmas will get crazier but for a Babies first's Christmas it was pretty perfect.

Later on Christmas night as I was tucking Kylie in to bed, she looked up at me and said "Mommy, I think this was my best Christmas ever." I said "oh really Kylie, that's great honey, I'm glad you had a good day." She said "ya know I think it was the best day of my life."

Before I gave her kisses I also asked her what was your favorite gift? She then looked all thoughtful and replied "my Jesus book". For those that don't know the "Jesus book" story here is the short version. Kylie goes to a Catholic Pre-K school. Every day they have little jobs also know as helpers. One of the jobs is the blessing book helper. Before and after class and before snack the blessing book helper gives the teacher the blessing book (aka "Jesus Book"). So Kylie has been pretending my James Patterson books are Jesus books and reciting prayers. She also recites prayers to Bella and Jaxson. She tells them the Hail Mary, The Our Father and the Morning Prayer they say in school. Santa brought Kylie, Bella and Jaxson their very own child Bible books (aka "Jesus Books").

So I went to bed completely satisfied knowing it was the Best Christmas Ever and knowing we are truly blessed.
