Happy Birthday Destine' ..

Happy Birthday Miss Destine'. Easter 2011 we were delighted to meet Steven's Mom, Joan. She and Steven spent Easter with us. So naturally Destine' has been wanting to go to Texas and meet the rest of Stevens Family. Since Destine' has the best Mom & Dad Ever! We gave her a plane ticket for her 19th Birthday. I am still waiting on getting some more pictures from her trip but I can share the few that I did get. Of Course they spoiled her in Texas. Steven took her to Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory for a tour and tasting. Yummy, her favorite is Ice Cream. He also took her to a shooting range, which she absolutely loved. Then to top it off, his whole family gave her a surprise birthday party, including a big birthday dinner.

Yes that was a pink camo hat she was wearing. That's our country girl!

Happy Birthday Destine'! Every year you continue to amaze me. This year you have had to make a few hard decisions. I know that you have tried to keep these decisions personal and private but outside sources have made that very hard. Words from your wise Yoda Father sum it up best. "Some of life's toughest battles are purely mental wars. In these mental wars, the enemy doesn't win by drawing blood but by merely getting you to play the game. Just don't play the game and you are guaranteed to win!
