It was a great weekend But...

It was a great weekend .... With our special visitors we went to the NC Zoo, Monkey Joe's and Cary's Spring Daze at Bon Park. The girls had a great time. Each and every time my Dear Friend visits, it reminds me how precious and unique our friendship is. One thing I know for sure is, I really needed her this weekend.

The Monday after we were at the Zoo, the Zoo officials announced that Jamani the female Gorilla is 5 months Pregnant and will deliver July or August. It will be the first time in 22 years that a baby Gorilla could be born at the Zoo. It could also explain why she is resting belly up in the middle of the field.

This was at the end of the day. Kylie saying "She's touching me, she's touching me, she's touching me with the map" and Keira saying "I am only showing you the way"... and what did both mothers do, what else laugh and take pictures.

For most of the day is was all smiles and giggles.

They say that if you look into the "Swamp Ghost's" eyes you should have good luck.
Depending on how you look at it, we are really lucky.

Picnic lunch in front of the Gorilla's. As we waited for some rude adults to let us get a glimpse of the Gorilla's we decided it was the perfect place to have lunch. P.S. the rude adults never moved. Apparently they were on the board of directors at NC State and they didn't get our hints that we wanted a turn.

Monkey Joe's and Bella's first time in a bouncy.

Bath time (aka a few mins of quiet time for the Mom's)

Keira meeting Bella for the first time.

Spring Daze at Bon Park was a ton of fun.

As always when Keira and Jenn visit we always have a great time. It was a great weekend but... scary as well. With Jimmy in the Hospital I really needed my friend to keep me grounded and my mind off what could happen and focused on what was happening. With her here I was able to be where I needed to be and not worry about my babies at home. Thank you Keira and Jenn for making a difficult time a little easier. Thank you Jenn for being my Friend.

I am so glad I was able to be there. I keep thinking about how if I came in February as planned I probably wouldn't have be there this time. It's like someone knew I needed to be there that very weekend. ;)

I love you and your family more than words.

We can't wait to see you again! xoxo
