First I can't believe that it has been 4 months. These two are growing so fast. At our 4 Month check up both Bella and Jaxson have caught up and are right on target. Both are where they are supposed to be on the growth chart. Since they were almost two months early, they always check for delays. So far both are doing great. Jaxson needs to work on his neck mussels to control his head bobbling. We do exercises everyday to work on that. With in the next month we are planning on introducing Jaxson and Bella to cereal, fruits and veggies. We are hoping that will help them sleep longer at night. They still wake up every three hours, sometimes they will do a 4 or 5 house stretch.
Little Miss Bella is quite the character. She loves to hear her self talk and she talks a lot. She loves your attention. She is happiest sitting in her bumbo chair and her swing. As long as she can see you, she is happy. She only takes two short naps during the day. She is a little intimidated by her big sister Kylie and sometimes when she hears Kylie's voice getting closer she gets a little nervous. She can certainly identify everyone in our family by sight and sound. She is very close to belly giggling. She is also very independent, she likes to hold her own bottles (or at least think she is). Her two dimples are absolutely adorable.
Mr Jaxson is a Momma's boy. He is higher maintenance but more layed back, if that even makes any sense. His huge smile is infectious. He is definitely a morning person. Unlike Bella he is up and ready to play super early and Bella likes to sleep in. His new fascination is his fingers. He loves to suck on his fist. He takes more naps during the day. He loves to be held while he drinks his bottle. He reaches for toys and loves to talk to himself in the mirror. Jaxson is super ticklish and so close to belly giggling. He loves when Kylie plays peek a boo with him. But when Jaxson is tired and cranky only one thing can make him happy and get him to his happy place, his Mommy. While this makes Mommy feel super needed, it also worries her. With my trip coming up I hope he doesn't give Daddy a hard time.
Baby Stats:
Jaxson James is 23" tall, 13.5 lbs and head circumference is 42.
Bella Susan is 22.5" tall, 12.5 lbs and head circumference is 41.
They both hate shots, but who doesn't?
