First stop was the weight station.
Army requires us to weigh the car.
We were surrounded by big rigs.
For our first official stop we decided to stop at the Smokey Mountain National Park.
It was a beautiful drive.
But this little bathroom cabin reminded me of Girl Scout camp.
We were expecting a visitor center or something.
We still stopped at a few waterfalls.
Although it would have been cool from a distance, we didn't see a bear.
It was definitely a smoking room in the past (like yesterday).
The hotel is supposed to be non smoking.
It was only for two nights and we had both days planned.
We felt like we were in a CSI episode.
Instead of leaving our valuables in the room we felt it was safer to bring them with us in the car.
Right after we checked, even though we gained an hour, we only had a little while to get ready for the Grand Ole Opry
We were surprised buy the seats.
The first act was great.
The next few were a little before our time.
