So many Firsts .....

The Zoo is a busy place this week.

Lot's of First's.

Kylie started her First Day back after Track out (Monday 8/18)

Kylie started her First Dance classes: Hip Hop and Tap (Monday 8/18)

Jaxson and Bella had their First day at PreSchool (Monday 8/18)

Bella had her First PreDance (ballet) class (Tues 8/19)

Mommy had her First aerobic class while having 3.5 hours alone..

I have had three people ask me "what are you going to do with All. That. Time.?"

Really?

I mean really?

Just for kicks I'll answer:

Monday: I dropped them off

 Went to the Gym for some "Me" time, took an hour aerobic class.

After class I have just enough time to get home, 

take a quick shower,

clean up the tornado we left behind in the morning getting everyone up and out on time,

switch the laundry real quick,

actually peed ALONE (probably the highlight of the day),

and get a glass of water on my way out the door to go pick them up.

I will say that when I did get home for the few minutes I had to shower before going to get them, 

the house was eerie and quiet.

As I stepped through the door and heard the silence I did a double check in my head.

Where are my kids and why is it so quiet?

Oh yeah I remember now, I am alone and they are safe.

It is a bitter sweet feeling.

Miss Bella was ready for school!

We may have brushed our teeth in the truck (don't ask how-you don't want to know)

But they were already buckled when Bella remembered we forgot.

So we figured it out!

Off we go.

... and just like that they are big kids.

Jaxson wasn't as enthusiastic as Bella was.

His face says it all.

I snuck to take another look to make sure "they" were ok.

The Preschool Teacher posted these pictures.

Showing me what they made on their first day.

My two little's were the only ones who didn't want to paint their hands.

Here tape it on the wall Momma.

I guess I have to go buy some paint safe tape.

We took Kylie to dance and our new obsession is the bathroom stalls.

Since they get to go on their own in school, including locking the stall.

We made several trips to the rest room while waiting for Kylie at dance.

Bella got a wonderful surprise.

A princess came to give Bella her golden ticket for Dance.

Bella got an official crown from Cinderella.

Day two of our First Week at Preschool!

*It was so humid that I had a little fog in the lens-that explains the blur in the middle.

Sneaky Mommy

After our first day we added Lunch Bunch.

That's where Bella and Jaxson eat lunch at school with their friends.

I love that the school has a closed group FB page.

I get to see what they are doing in School every day.

Since Jason was a little clingy on our second day we decided to do Car Pool on day 3.

They were so excited that they got to do the car pool lane "just like Kylie",

that they forgot all about clinging to Mommy.

He did look back as he was walking in the door with a look of

"Wait, what just happened?"

I wish I had a picture of that face he made. 

Well we have all made it through our week of "Firsts".

We had a great "First" week.

Jaxson and Bella loved preschool.

Kylie loves school and loves writing.

Kylie says she wants to write stories when she gets older.

Kylie had a great time at dance.

Bella Loves Dance.

And as much as I miss them 

(yes I miss them, I know it's only a few minutes but I still miss them)

Mommy loves her "Me" time at the Gym!
