Yesterday we headed off to the Pumpkin Patch.
Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville NC
We made some sandwiches (and bought some at subway) and headed out for a picnic & pumpkins.
While we were having our picnic the Helicopter took off.
What helicopter you ask? That's a good question? We have no idea.
It was just parked in the parking lot and took off with one person in it.
First stop, the color maze.
Next, was the animals.
They were not amused.
All they wanted to do was the slide.
Uncle Cory "volunteered" to take Jaxson down,
Daddy had Bella and Aiden and Kylie went together.
The boy LOVES tractors.
Every time he saw one he stopped what he was doing to watch it.
Watching Baby Races.
Baby Pigs, Baby Goats, Baby Ducks, Baby Pot Belly Pigs.
Kylie was across the way from us with Grammy and Aiden
Baby Goats
Baby Ducks
I liked these little guys,
They were only 5 week old pot belly pigs, so cute.
Then on to my Son's second favorite, The Choo Choo Train!
The Hay (Tractor) Ride
Bella wasn't amused.
Jaxson picked up the pumpkins and then threw them.
He kept trying to get back on the tractor and could care less about picking pumpkins.
Bella thought the pumpkins were too dirty and tried to wipe everyone off before she would pick them up.
Mommy is a photographer, NOW sit down and let me take your picture!
UGH it is like pulling teeth!
This is the best we could do and this chick in the back was in every picture.
I may have to photo shop her out later - but believe it or not I didn't edit any of these pictures.
They are all straight out of the camera and all in Manual. (I have come a long way).
... and Kylie say's "I'm out" so Jaxson heads for the tractor.
I have totally lost control.
Except for my favorite (for the moment) Miss Bella.
Happy on the Tractor again.
End of the Day
It was a crazy October (felt like July) 90 Degrees.
Yup, it is never this hot in October.
Having a little Ice Cream and Cold Lemonade break.
That Lemonade was so good!
It was way toooooo HOT for the Pumpkin Patch!
We had a very long day without naps starting with a soccer game at 11am.
Lori had the pleasure of driving back home (45 mins) with a screaming, over tired Bella.
By the time we got home 7:30pm, ate diner and everyone got a bath, bed time was two hours late 10pm.
It was a very long HOT day.
