Pumpkin Patch...

This year we went to Hillridge Farm.
It is a fake pick your own pumpkin patch but it has a ton of things to do for the kids.
Grammy, Aunt Kelly and Aiden came with us!
It was chilly and over cast.
Due to the gloomy weather, the lines were short.
Last year we had to wait in long lines for everything.

Be warned, my babies are not looking like babies anymore and are starting to look like little people.

Last year (same weekend before Halloween) this place was so crowded,
we waited 1hr on line for the train and 45 minutes on line for the slide.
You can see the difference here how empty the place was.

Believe it or not this is just a mound of hay.
Lets just say after playing on here they all had hay in some interesting places.

This picture cracks me up every time I see it.
Bella is our crazy girl she thinks she can do anything.
Jaxson thinks it through and is a little more hesitant.

Bella slipped on the hay and got right back up to try again.
I could have cropped it and blown up just Bella in this shot but park of what I like is Grammy's face as she is helpless to catch Bella falling.

He wasn't too sure about climbing up but once he got there he was happy.

Bella was determined to get to the top and she did.

Last year it was soooo hot that the bunny's didn't come out.
This year Jaxson and Bella were yelling at the bunny's and they were running away.

On our way to the train ride.

I skipped the train ride to get some pictures.
Jaxson is just like his cousin Aiden and he loves trains.
At the end of the ride Grammy had to pry Jaxsons hands off the train as he didn't want to get off.
He wanted to ride again.

Taking the hay ride over to the fake pick your own pumpkin patch.

This year was interesting.
When ever I do anything with all of my kids and want to take pictures,
I need to bring helpers.
So what happens when you let your 5yr old and your twin almost 2yrs old out into a field.
They all go in separate directions.
I not only needed helpers, I needed someone else with a camera too.

...and Bella is off to find her pumpkin.
**keep in mind our rule is you have to be able to pick up the pumpkin at least for a few seconds

...and now I hear from behind me. Hey your missing a photo op with Jaxson.
So I turn around and I see Jaxson falling over his pumpkin he tried to pick up.

Then I hear Bella yell "Oh No punkin".
I turn around and there she is with her pumpkin rolling away.

Lets not forget about Kylie, who is off with her pal Aiden, finding her perfect pumpkin.

This is funny, what you can't see is he threw the pumpkin that is in front of him.
He couldn't get up with it so he is now pouting because he is mad at the pumpkin.
He hit the pumpkin and said "bad".

Now he is in boycott mode.

Kylie finally found her pumpkin.

These are for Poppy, who got Jaxson he cool Giants shirt.
Yes, I did take off his coat to get these pictures.
It was only for a minute.

Well while it was interesting and they were all over the field, they all finally got their pumpkins.
Now lining them all up for a picture is just ridiculous.

It never fails. When ever I want to do a group picture one of them is pissed off.
Group pictures of my own family are just painful.
Here it is Jaxson's turn.
He still hates his pumpkin and is pushing it away.

This one just makes me laugh!

and now he is trying to push Bella's pumpkin away too.

This year Aiden and Kylie got to go down the slide three times.

They were so happy to go down together!
I didn't even realize they were together until they got up.
I couldn't see Aiden.

...and they are done.
By this point everyone was cranky and tired.
It was a long chilly day.
It was a lot of fun and a little crazy.
I am thinking that my days of organized outings are done.
I should just accept the crazy and move on.
I love my crazy kids!
