Thanksgiving night is very
special. It means Santa's Christmas Elves start putting candy in our shoe but only when we are good. If we are bad they write us a note to remind us of things we can do to be kind and good. This year we have a special Christmas Elf "
Tinsie" (Kylie named him right away) who will be hanging around our house until Christmas Eve. "
Tinsie"
fly's back to Santa every night and give him a full report. Kylie, Bella, and
Jaxson better be good and "
Tinsie" will leave them a chocolate and give Santa a good report. Now every morning we check to see where "
Tinsie" has landed for the day.

Another tradition I grew up with was Egg Bert. What is an Egg Bert you ask? He is a king in his magical Christmas land. Before you see Egg Bert you walk through a winter wonderland. Egg Bert was around when I was little but due to a fire at the farm where he lived he has been gone for many years. This year Egg Bert is back with new owners. It was a trip down memory lane form me but the winter wonderland was not quite as big as it used to be.

Egg Bert always knows your name...

Kylie wasn't too sure about Egg Bert but since Sissy was with her she was brave enough for Mommy to get this picture.
