Seriously I never want to see you again. Rose is the really nice night nurse at our wonderful Emergency Room just 5 miles away. Thank goodness we are close. First Miss Kylie ended up at the ER on her second birthday with swollen feet, lips, and a
raspberry rash for her
Cephalosporin Allergy. Then she ended up with liquid stitches on Jan 6,2011 over her right eyebrow. Last night and hopefully her final trip to the ER while playing ghost (with blanket over her head), just as Mommy was saying Kylie take that off your head your going to fall... down she goes, head first into the wooden stool in front of the sink. At first I thought she hit her knees, which is where I was looking. During her
immediate crying (she had her head down) I asked her where was her boo boo because I couldn't find any marks on her legs or knees, she looked up and pointed to her head. To my horror I gasped and with that Jimmy ran and got Ice and called Aunt Kelly to come over to watch the babies. In the middle of her
forehead was an instant bubble imagine a golf ball sliced down the middle and placed on her head with a red and blue line in the middle. We were off to the ER. Kylie was such a good girl. She let us put ice on it right away and kept it on for a very long time. She answered all the Dr's questions and got a little stuffed animal. By the time we left the swelling went down by more than half. We were there for 5 hrs. The standard rule for a head injury is to watch them for about 4 hrs for any behavior, mental abnormalities. She didn't have a head ache and was feeling good with no
nausea. So we take it easy and watch for any changes. Of course I had promised her a present since she was such a big girl, which she remembered
immediately when we got home at 2:30am. We knew she was feeling better. We will follow up with Dr
Gelber on Thurs. but she is doing good and told me this morning that she is done playing ghost!
This Morning...

Last night after two hours of Ice...

This is today, they said she may get black eyes and I can see it on the left side getting black and blue.

About 2am waiting for the Dr to come back...

A few minutes ago...

Dear Rose,
Thank you so much for taking good care of my daughter and making her feel better on all three visits. Also thank you so much for taking care of my hubby when when he was sick in May but in all honesty I hope we don't see you again. Well at least in the ER, I wouldn't mind running into you at Harris Teeter or Kohls, we have grown fond of you.
Sincerely Mrs Webb
