What have we been up to?

Baby Stats: 6 months old
Bella is 15 lbs 4 ozs and 25" long
Jaxson is 16 lbs 3 1/2 ozs and 26 1/2" long
Both have maintained just above normal on the regular growth curve and have excelled on the premature growth curve.

They love to play with toys now. Most of the time the toy they want is the one that the other has.


Mr Jaxson is on the move. He rollie pollie's (back to belly & belly to back) everywhere. He goes after toys he wants. While he can, he doesn't like to sit but loves to stand. He just found his piggys and is very intent on getting them every chance he gets. Jaxson is a picky eater and must have everything mixed with a fruit. Even though he isn't sleeping through the night yet he is close. He has gone a few nights from around 8ish to 5ish. More than 50% of the time he gets up at 3ish for a bottle but he will go back to sleep. He will also go back down in the morning after a bottle and sleep until 8ish. On occasion he will not go back down and wants to hang out with Daddy until Mommy gets up.

Miss Bella is very happy almost all of the time. She is always smiling. Even though she only rolls belly to back she has started to get to her side but can still get to what she wants but shimming herself on her back. Unlike her brother, Bella loves food and all different foods. We are shocked that she is still a pound behind because she eats more than Jax. She does sleep through the night for the most part. She will go down around 8ish and wake up around 6ish. She usually takes a bottle and goes back to sleep until 830am or 9ish. Bella loves her piggys and is close to putting them in her mouth. She can sit on her own for a few minutes without support. However she has no desire to stand at all. We are working on this everyday.

Miss Kylie is super excited about starting school. She has been Daddy's little helper. This week they have made muffins, Aunt Caroline's pinch me cake, and her new favorite Jello. Lately and it seems only on the nights that Jax will sleep through the night, Miss Kylie has been getting up around 1ish and staying up until 2or3ish. We're hoping this is just a faze and ends fast! She is getting very excited to go to NY and see her Nana & Poppy, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Another part of our trip she is excited about is getting to finally go to her friend Keira's house and play with her toys.

Jaxson may have lost this battle but he won the war, well Mommy helped. You'll notice here a small red line on his head, complements of his sister Bella. She wanted the froggie toy that you see in his hand that Mommy awarded to him for his casualty.

Jax got to eat some crackers for the first time and broke a few rules. No crumbs in Mommy's bed! He is just too cute for rules, right now.

Both Jaxson and Bella are teething. Lately though Jaxson is just miserable. Sissy figured out what he wanted, and yes Nana she did wash her hands first.

Mr Jaxson isn't the only one spoiled by Sissy. Miss Bella prefers Ice Pops to crackers.

In preparation for our trip to NY both babies needed to get a bathing suit. Since "Casa De Caroline & Jim" has a pool, we decided to see if they fit. Mommy wasn't sure, the suits are 12 months and Mommy thought they looked to small but they fit just right.

Now to figure out how to fit everything into the roof cargo pack. All our passenger seats will be full so it will be tricky to get everything we need for two weeks in to the small cargo pack. We are planners though and we are packing light.
