A Respectable Injury ........

On Halloween Destine was playing at her State Cup soccer game for CASL Soccer when she injured her knee, durning a play she planted her foot and her knee went the other way. After xrays, MRIs, and Orthopedic's ....

It's surgery in two weeks ... Torn ACL.. Torn Meniscus and damaged cartilage = recovery 6 to 9 mos total..After the surgery and a lot of PT she should recover almost back to full functionality but that will depend on the damage to the Meniscus, he wont know the extent for the damage until he gets in there.


Of Course Destine' is a trooper and trying to be very independant. I keep telling her that she took care of us, Kylie and I while we were on bed rest for 21 weeks, she should enjoy letting us take care of her. She is getting better at it. As a surgery present we are going to the New Moon opening at midnight the night before her surgery. Double feature "Twilight" then "New Moon". We are both ver excited about it. She is going to do everything the PT tells her because she wants to be able to dance for Prom in May.
