A fabulious Visit .....

We had two game nights, just us (we taught them Dominos-awesome game) had mud slides.We went to a Durham Bulls baseball game. We went to the "Life and Sceince Museum" (very hands on and a butterfly house and a dinosour trail). We had a BBQ with Jimmys Family. We went to the pool almost every night with the kids. We played a lot of board games with the kids. They went school shopping during our state tax free weekend. They went horse back riding. We had Birthday Cake for Amy. They went to Destine's school to get her schedule and she gave them a tour. The kids helped me make a Sea Shell Garden. Shawnie helped Jimmy do some yard work and pruned the roses and look for lizards. The kids played the Wii. We went to Monkey Joe's and played on the jumpie's. Destine' got a lot of Driving in with Shawn. Shawn taught Jimmy how to change my brakes in my car and how to change the Oil. Shawn helped Jimmy put in a ceiling fan in Destine's room and a few other odd jobs around the house. We had a great visit and they were awesome guest's.

The Pool


Monkey Joes is a place with a lot of Jumpie's. Some have slides and are like a fun house. Sissy was so cool to take Kylie in. We wont tell anyone but we think Sissy had fun too. Mommy even slide out on her butt when she took Kylie in. Wish we got a picture of that.

Shawnie and Courtney loved running all over and in all the different Jumpies.

At the Family BBQ Courtney kept Kylie company in her little pool. It was the hotest week we have had all summer so far.

Playing Cornhole at the BBQ

This is at the "Life and Sceince" Museum. Half of the exibits were out side and it was 102 that day. But it was still worth it. The butterfly house was great and the Dinosour trail was awesome.

Each exibit was a different learning, hands on activity. They got to do so many things.

Other night we just hung out and the kids played out side. They didnt care how hot is was.

Shawnie and Courtney helped make my Sea Shell garden. On the last day we added sand and it looks great. Thanks Guys, I love it.

The boys got to put our grill together and put new breaks on my car and an oil change.

Lots of board games. The kids were so cool and followed all the rules. They put every game away and made sure all the small peices were there before they got another game out. They were great they can play in our game closet any time. We had so much fun playing games with them.

Courtney played with Kylie in the play room all week and every night she cleaned and put away all the toys. She even cleaned the floors for me. Both Shawnie and Courtney loved my sweeper they took turns cleaning. Amy was so impressed that she is going to make sure they continue cleaning at home. And since they followed all the rules so well, Amu said they could continue at home.

The Durham Bulls game was fun. It was coicidence that they were playing Syracuse Chiefs. So we were rooting for different teams. But no one cared when Shawnie jumped up and cheered when Syracuse scored.

It was a great week.
